Here is another card I have been playing with lately using my new stamp set from Stampin Up! - No I am not a consultant just a good customer and I guess I should be charging commission ....hmmmm, now that's worth considering :-)

AWOL AGAIN

I know I've been missing in action again but I have good excuses .... yeah right I have ....... I had the inlaws for Christmas and then the countdown to Miss 4's Princess 5th birthday party (which is just 2 more sleeps away now) and then two more sleeps from that and I am off to the Guide Jamboree - bring it on!

This will be my 3rd Jamboree - 1988 as a girl and 2000 and 2008 as a leader - I love being able to give opportunities to girls as were given to me in my formative years. I am the woman I am today because of the input from leaders all those years ago.

It is the 100th year of Guiding in NZ this year which makes it even more special. I am really proud to be a member of this awesome movement and I can't wait to see what more there is in store. If you want to know more about Guiding or how to become a leader just go here.

Oh well I had better get sorted and make a cake and other assorted birthday fare - wish me luck!

Christmas Countdown

As she has done in the past for many seasonal occasions Lisa Vollrath is going to do a Chrstmas Printables Countdown where she makes available a printable image - one a day till Christmas!

This will be starting next weekend so if you are into all things Chrismassy - or haven't finished your Christmas cards yet - or like me haven't had a chance to start them yet ! - then go and have a look - you might be inspired - all she asks is that you make a link to her site on your blog or to a group or somewhere before you download pictures - it's a small price to pay :-)
