The girls and I headed away for our annual craft retreat. We wanted to acknowledge that our dear friend Keryn had passed up the opportunity to go to the Stampin Up Convention to be with us – and that she had had a successful year with her business (and it’s her birthday too) so the rest of us conspired to create our own convention complete with goodie bags and make-N-takes – the works!
Here is Keryn with her Goodie Bag – stamped with her favourite stamp set – she was almost speechless!
These are the goodies I made to add to the bags … but there was heaps more, an album from Kelly, pencil case from Vicky and a challenge pack from Sally (who wasn’t even there!) and then flowers from Jackie who shared part of the weekend with us too.
This is proof that we were productive – this is the table when everyone had gone to bed on Saturday night – we are not the tidiest of crafters.
…and here is the shop …I mean the communal supplies … well some of them. On the floor are also crates and boxes full of papers, cardstock and you name it we had it there!!!! Every supply under one roof!
And these are all the projects we managed to get done over the weekend – this is the most productive we have ever been – normally we are a little more relaxed and much less focused.
And here is one tired girl when we were all ready to go home – sums it up really!
Happy Birthday Keryn!
I am sure the others will cover the event on their blogs too and if you check back I’ll show some close ups of my work over the next week or so. Go to Keryn and Kelly’s blog to find out more about the weekend.
